COLLECTION: Personal data will be collected through the sending of information on the website located at the URL: https://bioinspiredmaterials.com/ (hereinafter referred to as the “WEBSITE“), by means of the Contact Form located at: https://bioinspiredmaterials.com/contacta/ (hereinafter referred to as the “FORM“).

PURPOSE: The personal data provided by you through the WEBSITE and the FORM will be processed by BIOM for the following purposes:

• To manage any type of request, request or query you may make regarding the products and services offered by BIOM on the WEBSITE, and to respond to your query or send you the information you have requested regarding the products and services.
• Direct marketing, by sending news, information about products and services, events, activities, promotions and offers from BIOM (Newsletter), provided that you have given your explicit consent to receive this information.

BIOM will not process the information provided by you for purposes other than those explicitly stated above. In the event that it subsequently becomes necessary to process your personal data for a different purpose, you will be provided, in advance, with all relevant additional information on the new purpose and, if necessary, your consent will be sought. Likewise, BIOM will not make automated decisions based on the information you provide.

CONSERVATION: The personal data provided by you will be retained for as long as necessary to receive and process your query or request for information, as well as to send you the response or information you have requested. Ultimately, personal data will be retained for a period of three (3) years after your query or request for information has been handled and responded to.

If you have requested news, information about products and services, events, activities, promotions and offers from (Newsletter), your data will be retained for as long as necessary to send you the information and ultimately one (1) year after you have requested to unsubscribe from the Newsletter.

The basis of legitimacy for the processing of your personal data for the purposes indicated in section 3 above is the unequivocal consent given by you by accepting this PRIVACY POLICY, as well as the acceptance of the LEGAL NOTICE and the COOKIES POLICY.

In addition to the above, in the event that you purchase products or services, the basis of legitimacy for the processing of your data will be the execution of the contractual relationship with you.

5.  STORAGE OF DATA:

Your personal data collected through the WEBSITE and the FORM will be stored in the storage servers that BIOM has contracted with GRUPO LOADING SYSTEMS, S.L. (NIF B- 53927950). These storage servers are located in the city of Orihuela, province of Alicante, Spain. BIOM’s contracted company, as well as its servers and data storage system, comply with European regulations on the protection of personal data.

The personal data provided by you will NOT be shared, transferred or communicated to third parties, without obtaining your prior and express consent; and without prejudice to the communications that may be made to administrations, entities or public or judicial bodies due to the existence of a legal obligation to send them.
